Omni Supreme Spray Oil functions as a contact insecticide and is effective against scales, mites, borers and other insects. It will suffocate the eggs from insects that are wintering on the plant. Use on plants that are in the dormant stage when there is no vegetation on the plant. It is ideal to apply in the late winter or early spring when temperatures are above freezing but below 70 degrees.Â
Dormant oils don’t leave a toxic residue and dissipate quickly, which makes them ideal for use on blooming plants that will have pollinators arrive later during the growing season.Â
