BOVI-SHIELD GOLD FP 5 L5 HB is the only viral combination vaccine that helps provide 365 days of comprehensive reproductive protection against viral pathogens and Lepto hardjo-bovis (LHB) to help minimize economic losses from reproductive diseases for dairy heifers and cows.
Indications
This product has been shown to be effective against abortion due to IBR; persistently infected calves and fetal infection caused by BVD Type 1a, 1b, and Type 2; testicular infection caused by BVD Type 2; fetal, genital, and renal infections, and leptospiruria caused by L. hardjo bovis; and disease caused by Leptospira canicola, L. grippotyphosa, L. hardjo, L. icterohaemorrhagiae, and L. pomona.
Primary Vaccination: Administer a single 2-mL dose to all breeding cows and heifers approximately one month prior to breeding or to non-pregnant females that are being added to the herd, followed by a single dose of SPIROVAC L5 four to six weeks later. Revaccinate annually.Â
